Donate to the Teacher Fund
You can make a contribution of any value you choose while you're visiting any Board Game Barrister location!
How does a teacher access the Teacher Fund?
Access to the Teacher Fund is granted to your MVP Account. If you don't have an MVP Account, it's easy (and free!) to sign up in-person or online.
To register as a teacher (One-Time Sign Up):
- Visit any Board Game Barrister location, and let us know you'd like to register.
- We'll prompt you for the following information, which is necessary for registration with no exceptions:
- School Name
- School Phone Number
- Your School Email Address
- School Street Address
- You will then have immediate access to a pre-set amount to spend* from the Teacher Fund. That amount resets to its maximum on August 1 of each year.
To apply the fund to a purchase:
- Be ready to present a valid, current ID card or badge, issued by your school.
- During checkout, ask to use your available Teacher Fund amount.
- Our team will be ask you to present your teacher ID, as well as your expected use for the items in your purchase.
- Then we'll apply your available funds directly to your purchase!
Who is eligible for access to the Teacher Fund?
- This fund is currently available to teachers, referring to someone who educates in a classroom setting and is issued an ID by a school, university or other educational institution.

- Making a larger purchase than you're available funds? That's okay! We'll let you know how much Teacher Fund you have available, and you can complete a transaction using an additional payment method.
- No Returns / Refunds are permitted on any transaction that applied funds from the Teacher Fund.
*The Teacher Fund is available is available only for purchases made in-store, and only while there are funds available. If the Teacher Fund's current balance is lower than your remaining allotment of funds, only the current balance will be available to apply toward a purchase.
