Six travel-friendly games for summer

Posted by Andy B on Apr 29th 2026

Hi friends,

I'm wrote this newsletter a couple weeks ago, because as you're reading it, I'll just be returning from a trip to Belgium ?? so I've got travel games on the mind. Let's talk about six new(ish) games we're packing for a summer of road trips, plane rides, pool days, picnics and beer gardens!

Cheers,

Andy

CDSK Travel—One of our all-time favorite trivia games gets the travel-friendly treatment in this new standalone edition. It's a must-have for us whenever we need a low-energy activity that doesn't require a table to play.

Prime Suspect—A family-friendly logic and deduction game for one player or collaborative group play. Each box contains 45 cases, and each case will challenge you to arrange the nine suspects in a 3x3 grid. Your culprit should be the center suspect!

Barbecubes—This tiny tin packs a huge amount of fun in this dexterity game for up to 6 players. Use the tiny tongs to add tiny pieces of food to the tiny barbecue, all without knocking anything into the fire!

Sirens—A clever and compact card game for two players. Choose the cards in your siren song carefully, then compare with your opponent to see who brought more sailors to their doom.

The Color Monster Travel—For families who use the road as an opportunity to connect, this new travel version of Color Monster is the best game we've ever seen for sharing and communication between young kids and their parents.

Burst—A massively addictive card game in a box the size of a soda can. Break this one out anytime you have at least three players and a surface like a table or picnic blanket.
