Mutate every creature in your world! Our Mutated Monsters Decks provide game masters an array of unique abilities that can quickly and easily be applied to any creature. With 30 mutations in each deck - you can select the mutation that works best for you, or choose randomly and surprise your players for a unique twist during combat encounters. Give a monster a single mutation for a slightly more challenging encounter, or pile on multiple mutations to create a truly challenging behemoth. Every mutation card is beautifully illustrated, and has a unique ability to apply to your monster. The bottom of each card has a “skull rating” (1-5 skulls), which is an estimate of how much this mutation will increase the challenge of the creature you are mutating.
The Aberrant Adaptations deck contains mutations that might arise spontaneously in nature: razor sharp claws that give your creature a powerful attack, or color changing fur that allows it to blend chameleon-like into its environment.
