Welcome to Booster Drafts at our North Shore Location!

Draft three booster packs, build a deck, and play three rounds for promo pack prizes.

Note: Online Pre-registration will not be available on the day of your event. In-Store registration will be available until the event's start time.

How Do Booster Drafts Work?
At your Booster Draft event, you'll sit down at a table of players–your draft pod. The event is split into two phases: Draft and Play.

Draft Phase: ~1 hour
Everyone receives three draft boosters when the event begins. All players simultaneously open their first pack, pick a card from it to keep, then pass the rest on to the person next to them. You keep passing and picking until the packs are gone. Then everyone opens their second pack, picks one, and passes–but in the other direction this time. Then the third and final pack, and you'll pass back the original direction.

By the end you'll have ~45 cards you picked. You'll want to have been picking cards in similar colors, or that you think will work well in a deck together, because then you get to build a Limited Deck (40 card minimum) out of your picks. Add lands from our supply, and your deck is ready for the Play Phase.

Play Phase: ~3 hours
Using your newly built deck, play three best-of-three matches with other players who were in the same draft pod as you. 
All of your drafted cards that are not in your deck are your Sideboard for the rest of the event, so you can swap them into your deck between games.


 

Draft Packs: Each player will receive three Draft Packs from the most recent Standard-legal set. Alternate packs can be drafted if participating players unanimously agree on an alternate set.

Prizes: All players receive Promo Pack prizes based on their win record.
